ARGYLE, Texas — Led by a 4-under-par round from Ana Gonzalez, the UTSA women's golf team climbed four spots up the leaderboard on the final day of The Bruzzy on Monday at Lantana Golf Club (par 72/6,241 yards).

Gonzalez' 68 helped the Roadrunners post a 2-under 286, the second-best round of the day, and move into ninth place in the team standings. UTSA finished with a 19-over 883 (299-298-286) for the 54-hole tournament, placing ahead of a pair of ranked teams in No. 16 Miami, which ended up in 12th at 22-over 886, and 10th-place and No. 42 TCU (884) in the 15-team field that included eight top-50 squads.

A three-time All-Conference USA performer and the reigning conference medalist, Gonzalez wrote down four birdies and an eagle on the 342-yard, par-4 ninth hole en route to a season-low round and 11th career sub-70 scorecard.
