“Hendrik Kookmaa brings an experienced international competitor and national throwing champion to our squad next season,” Fox said. “The growth in his progression over the past season gives us every reason to be excited to get him to San Antonio to help him meet his athletic and academic goals.”
Kookmaa arrives in San Antonio from Saue, Estonia. This season, Kookmaa ranks 20th the world U20 in the discus at 58.64m (192-4.75), tossed at the Noorte Heitjate Seeriavõistlus in July.
