NEW YORK – For the first time in program history, the UTSA women’s basketball team is receiving votes in The Associated Press Top 25 Women’s College Basketball Poll, as announced by the organization on Monday.
The Roadrunners (26-3, 17-1 The American) make their debut in the AP Poll after being crowned American Athletic Conference regular-season champions and are set to compete this week at the American Women’s Basketball Championship. UTSA earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will open things up against Rice in the quarterfinals on Monday at noon.
