GREENSBORO, N.C. — Senior outfielder Mason Lytle was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-American Third Team. ABCA/Rawlings All-Region first team selections, which were announced June 10, were eligible for All-America honors.
Lytle had an outstanding year as he started in all 62 games the Roadrunners played. Lytle led the team in batting average (.366), total bases (150), hits (98), doubles (22), and stolen bases (17).
Lytle certainly made an impact for the Roadrunners as he set the all-time single-season records in games played (62), games started (62), at-bats (268) and runs (75). This season alone, Lytle cracked the top-10 in hits (98), RBIs (68), total bases (150) and stolen bases (17).
