IRVING, Texas – The 2025-26 conference lineup is officially set for the Roadrunners heading into the second season under head coach Austin Claunch. Officials from the American Conference announced on Wednesday next season’s men's basketball scheduling matrix, revealing UTSA’s nine conference opponents coming to the Convocation Center and the nine conference road opponents on the 2025-26 schedule.
The Roadrunners are slated for an 18-game conference campaign, spanning 12 league foes with six home-and-away matchups, while the other six will face the Roadrunners just once. UTSA will square off twice with Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Rice and Temple. UAB, Tulane and Wichita State will travel to San Antonio for single meetings and UTSA will face Memphis, South Florida and Tulsa only on the road.
UTSA’s non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date, along with the full American schedule, game times and broadcast networks for the complete UTSA schedule. Conference action begins Tuesday, December 30, 2025, and will run through Sunday, March 8, 2026. The 2026 American Conference Men’s Basketball Championships are moving to Legacy Arena at The BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama, with tournament dates to be announced at a later time.
