SAN ANTONIO — UTSA running back Robert Henry Jr. has officially received an invitation to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held Feb. 22-March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
Henry’s will report on Feb. 24 and continue orientation, exams, meetings and media interviews through Feb. 27. He is slated for measurements and on-field workouts on Feb. 28 and the bench press on March 1. NFL Network will provide television coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine. The full list of 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is available on nfl.com.
Henry, who was invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl last month, is the seventh Roadrunner to earn an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine, joining Spencer Burford (2022), Marcus Davenport (2018), Zah Frazier (2025), Sincere McCormick (2022), David Morgan II (2016) and Tariq Woolen (2022).
A native of Lumberton, Mississippi, Henry became the third Roadrunner to crack the 1,000-yard barrier on the ground this past fall, rushing for 1,045 yards and nine touchdowns on 151 attempts, good for an average of 6.9 yards per carry. An honorable mention All-American by Phil Steele and first-team all-conference running back in 2025, he posted five 100-yard games highlighted by a season-high 177 on only 16 totes against eventual College Football Playoff participant Texas A&M. Despite missing two games due to an injury, he also had six plays from scrimmage of 70-plus yards, including five rushes, last season. His 1,045-yard output puts him third on UTSA’s single-season list.
