SAN ANTONIO – Fan interest in the UTSA Baseball and Softball programs is at an all-time high as the Roadrunners are beginning their 2026 seasons.
UTSA Softball season ticket sales have increased 77.6 percent year-over-year from last season, while UTSA Baseball season tickets have increased 77.1 percent year-over-year. Season tickets sold for both baseball and softball in 2026 are school records.
UTSA Baseball, which opens its season at home on Friday against South Dakota State, has sold out of reserved chairback season tickets for the first time in program history. The milestone comes following the best season in school annals, which included the 2025 American Conference regular-season championship, the NCAA Austin Regional championship and an NCAA Super Regional appearance. The squad recorded the first top-10 finish by any sport ever at UTSA.

UTSA Softball, which began its 2026 season last weekend playing host to the elite UTSA Invitational, sold out of all season tickets for the first time in school history. It marked the third consecutive year in which the Roadrunners have sold out of reserved chairback season tickets.
UTSA Softball welcomed 6,734 fans to Roadrunner Field last weekend for the nine-game UTSA Invitational. The Texas/Nebraska game on February 6 set a Roadrunner Field single-game record with 1,023 fans. The UTSA/Texas game on February 8 was the largest crowd ever to attend a UTSA game at Roadrunner Field with 959 in attendance.
