SAN ANTONIO — UTSA Athletics has announced the final winners of six of its annual Rowdys awards.
Voting for six of the annual awards was held over the summer once all athletics competition for the 2025-26 academic year was complete. The winners of the final six annual awards are listed below:
Newcomer of the Year (Women) — Ereauna Hardaway, Women’s Basketball
Newcomer of the Year (Men) — Lane Haworth, Baseball
Coach of the Year — Karen Aston
Team of the Year — Women’s Basketball
Outstanding Athlete Award (Men) — Jemuel Miller, Track & Field
Outstanding Athlete Award (Women) — Ida Breigan, Track & Field
That group will be presented with their awards during halftime of the home soccer match versus St. Mary’s on Aug. 23 at Park West Athletics Complex.
These award recipients join a large group of fellow Roadrunners who were recognized on May 6 at The Rowdys, the department’s annual awards ceremony, which was held at Pedrotti’s Ranch.
