SAN ANTONIO – Kicking off the first action for UTSA soccer and UTSA Athletics overall ahead of the ninth season under Derek Pittman, the reigning American Conference Champion Roadrunners will open exhibition season this week with matchups at home and on the road.
On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the Roadrunners will host Texas at 7:30 p.m. at the Park West Athletics Complex. The Longhorns win the SEC in 2024, but suffered a 4-12-1 campaign in 2025 that puts the 2026 roster under the guidance of Margueritte Bates, who won the 2022 National Championship at UCLA. UTSA vs. Texas exhibition tickets are available for $14.50 (including taxes and fees), while season ticket members have been offered exclusive pricing for $12.
On Saturday, the Roadrunners will return to the pitch in Corpus Christi, heading to Dugan Family Soccer Stadium to take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a nearly annual exhibition meeting. TAMU-CC went 5-8-6 last year and 2026 will mark the third year under head coach Daniel Clitnovici for the Islanders. The teams will meet at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8.
UTSA officially opens the 2026 campaign on Wednesday, Aug. 12, hosting Texas State at 7:30 p.m. with the Battle for I-35 in the first UTSA athletic event of the school year.
UTSA soccer season tickets are on sale now. All tickets are general admission and can be purchased for $70 (including fees). Season ticket holders in 2026 will receive a ‘thank you’ gift from the team and have access to exclusive team activities, including a team practice, lunch and post-game autograph session. Season ticket members can also purchase a limited-edition 2025 American Championship scarf with their season tickets for an additional $35 at time of purchase (a total price of $105 with ticket fees). Single-game tickets are now on sale as well. The For the 11 regular season games, tickets are available to the general public with adults for $12, juniors (ages 3-18) for $10, seniors (ages 65+) for $10 and military (with ID) for $10.
