Alex Catt joined Austin Claunch’s inaugural staff at UTSA as the Video Production Coordinator in October 2024. He came to UTSA following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Lamar.
At UTSA, Catt handles the day-to-day video operations, assisting the staff and players with in-house film, scouting and player/team analytics. At Lamar, he assisted heavily in numerous facets of the program, including operations, player development, evaluation, community outreach and equipment management. Before moving into the GA role, Catt was a Lamar student manager for three years, taking over the head student manager role in his senior season.
Catt earned two degrees from Lamar before heading to San Antonio, graduating in 2022 with his Bachelor’s in Psychology before moving on to collect a Masters of Business Administration in 2023.
