On Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, head UTSA women’s tennis coach Ki Kroll announced that Bruno Campos will join the staff as an assistant coach.

“Bruno is a proven coach whom I am very excited to be working with,” said head coach Ki Kroll. “He is experienced with a proven track record, which will help our program continue to excel.”

Bruno Campos joined the UTSA women's tennis program as an assistant coach in September 2025, bringing a decade of collegiate coaching and player development experience, with 254 career collegiate wins.

Prior to UTSA, Campos served as the head men's and women's tennis coach at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where both programs earned Top 30 national recognition. He was named the 2025 ITA West Region Men's Coach of the Year.

Before MSU Denver, Campos spent five seasons at Midland University, transforming both programs from the bottom of the conference to No. 1 and winning conference championships every year. He was named the 2023 ITA Central Region Women's Coach of the Year and earned multiple conference Coach of the Year honors.

As a player, Campos was ranked among the top 15 junior players in Brazil and competed in multiple ITF events. He was also a collegiate MVP at Mt. San Jacinto College before helping Bethany College reach the NAIA National Tournament in 2015 and 2016. He earned KCAC Second Team honors in both seasons and was named KCAC Newcomer of the Year in 2015.

A native of Brazil, Campos holds a master's degree in Adult and Organizational Leadership from Midland University and a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Bethany College. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
