Ramirez joined UTSA as a Media Specialist in November of 2025 after climbing the ladder from Student Assistant to Graduate Assistant for the Roadrunners.
He oversees creative photography and videography for the Roadrunners, serving as the lead producer for UTSA Volleyball and Softball, and assisting with football, baseball, track and field, and women’s basketball. Highlights for Ramirez include providing coverage of the baseball team’s 2025 Austin Regional Championship and the track and field team at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Under his tutelage, the UTSA Volleyball and Softball social media accounts have seen tremendous growth, while both programs have broken attendance and ticket sales records in each of his first two seasons with the sports.
Ramirez also has experience heading social media and content in the real estate industry and freelancing for various local San Antonio-based sports teams.
A native of Converse, Texas, he received a bachelor’s degree in film and media studies from UTSA in December of 2025 and also holds an associate of arts from Northeast Lakeview College, earned in May of 2023.
