SAN ANTONIO — Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Aaron Fox announced Monday that six student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to join his program during the early signing period.
The signing class consists of Mayte Arredondo (Whitney, Texas/Whitney HS), Shalise Borden (Tucson, Ariz./Marana HS/Central Arizona JC), Tameyah Carroll (Katy, Texas/Morton Ranch HS), Sydney Howell (Round Rock, Texas/McNeil HS), Plaserae Johnson (Avondale, Ariz./La Joya Community HS) and Gabby Torres (Laguna Vista, Texas/Port Isabel HS).
Johnson will join the program during the midterm break, while the other five will be Roadrunners next fall.

· Placed fourth at the 2014 UIL 2A State Championships in the 3,200 meters
· Finished sixth at the 2014 UIL 3A Cross Country Championships
Shalise Borden, throws

· Placed fifth at the national meet and second at regionals

· Placed ninth in the 100m hurdles at the USATF National Junior Olympics
· Finished second in the long jump at the 2014 District 19-20-5A Area Meet
Sydney Howell, sprints
