SAN ANTONIO – UTSA men's tennis saw Joao Ceolin (Palotina, Brazil) and Slava Gulin (Moscow, Russia) advance to the finals of their respective singles bracket during the second day of the UTSA Roadrunner Invitational, played on Saturday at the UTSA Tennis Center and Brandeis High School.
Ceolin and Gulin each won their singles matches on Saturday to advance to the finals in their respective brackets, with both set to be played at 10 a.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center on Sunday.
Ceolin posted a 7-6 (4), 6-3 win over UT Arlington's Alan Sau, while Gulin earned a 6-4, 6-4 winner over UIW's Ivan Smith.
