SAN ANTONIO -- The UTSA men's and women's basketball programs will host Rowdy Jam, an annual tip-off event to celebrate the start of the season on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the Convocation Center.
UTSA will welcome students and fans to the event to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 season, which will run from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners will introduce their coaching staffs, including men's head coach Steve Henson and women's head coach Karen Aston, to the crowd, as well as their 2021-22 rosters. Students and fans will be educated on UTSA traditions and will be treated to fan-involvement activities with the UTSA student-athletes.
The season gets under way on Nov. 9 with a season-opening doubleheader at the Convocation Center, with the women facing Stephen F. Austin at 5 p.m. and the men hosting Trinity at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on CUSA TV.
