SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's basketball team hits the road this weekend to play at Abilene Christian on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
Recapping SFA
The Roadrunners dropped a 77-50 decision to SFA on Nov. 9 to start the 2021-22 season. LaPraisjah Johnson led the team with 13 points as UTSA opened the Karen Aston era.
Roadrunner Debut
Hailey Atwood, Queen Ulabo, Lapraisjah Johnson, Jadyn Pimentel, Elyssa Coleman, Chantel Govan and Leslie Hunter all made their Roadrunner debuts against the Ladyjacks.
Scouting Abilene Christian
The Wildcats enter the game 1-0 after defeating the University of the Southwest 99-43 Tuesday evening.
Point guards Kamryn Mraz and Taylor Morgan combined for 28 of those points and the offense hit 17 three-pointers.
Last Meeting
This game marks just the fifth time the two squads will meet with UTSA leading the series 3-1 with the last meeting on Nov. 11, 2016.
