SAN ANTONIO – UTSA Athletics is set to host a Hoops for the Holidays doubleheader on Thursday, December 19 at the Convocation Center. The men’s basketball team plays host to Southwestern Adventist at 12 p.m. and the women’s basketball team welcomes UT Arlington at 4 p.m.
Fans can take advantage of a special ticket offer by clicking here and purchase a ticket to both games for a combined $10 price.
Teddy Bear Toss
The annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place at halftime of both the men’s and women’s games.
Fans are encouraged to bring a Teddy Bear to throw on the court at halftime. They will then be donated to underprivileged and foster children in the greater San Antonio community.
Upon arrival, fans should stop at the marketing table in the front lobby of the Convocation Center to label their bears. The fan who throws their teddy bear the furthest will receive a prize.
Holiday T-Shirt Sale
The fan-favorite UTSA Ugly Holiday long sleeve t-shirts will be on sale at the game for $15 while supplies last.
These can only be purchased at the Hoops for the Holidays doubleheader, so fans interested in buying the t-shirts should make plans to attend.

Fans can purchase a package which includes three basketball game tickets and photos with Rowdy Claus for $44. For a picture with Rowdy Claus only, the cost is $23. UTSA students can get a photo with Rowdy Claus for $8.
Spots are available from 12-4 p.m. at Thursday’s men’s basketball game or from 6-8 p.m. following the women’s basketball game. These will take place in the back lobby of the Convocation Center.
