CLEARWATER, Fla. — UTSA will take on No. 5 Tulane in their second American Athletic Conference Championship game at noon on Thursday, May 21, at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Fla.
The 4-2 win over Rice was UTSA's first win in the American Athletic Conference Championship in its second year as part of the AAC. With a win over Rice, UTSA will have another day off and will be set to play the winner of game nine.
The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format through the semifinal round. The championship final is a winner-take-all matchup on Sunday, May 25, which will determine The American’s automatic entrant to the NCAA Championship.
